The queue on opening day is legendary – spreading all the way up to the main road from the front of the building, studded with stars of the antiques trade firmament who start lining up hours before the doors open – in all weathers!

The new date in the Autumn offers exhibitors a chance to look inwards with lush decorative furniture for the home, library furniture for the essential home office, architectural elements, lighting, luxurious antique textiles and rugs from Asia and the Levant, folk art, mirrors, early glass and English and Continental pottery with a broad range of art from period portraits to Modern & Contemporary by named artists.
Historically a Spring event, buyers look for antiques for the garden and conservatory but with the trend to mix these pieces in interiors exhibitors will not disappoint with a diverse selection of English, Italian and French antique tables and chairs and decorative ephemera.
Around 50 exhibitors will converge on the Georgian City of Bath from across the UK to reveal stock saved for this important fixture in the fairs calendar. Pent up demand is likely to be a feature of this Autumn edition, visitors having missed the Spring 2021 date due to the upheaval of the pandemic.
A number of exhibitors will be making a debut in October including Bath duo House of Hummingbird who will bring a dazzling collection of lighting, barware, art de table and stylish Mid Century furniture for the contemporary home, Imagined Interiors, Somerset, dealing in decorative, country and semi formal furniture and accessories, Lily Antiques with a new showroom in Tetbury specialising in Italian and Spanish pottery and decorative antiques, Chairman Antiques, Corsham, Wiltshire, dealing in country house antiques and a myriad of rare objects for the collector, Track 21 Interiors, Hampshire, dealers in decorative antiques and Mid Century design, Greencore Design, North Wales, Welsh vernacular antiques and architectural reclamation, decorative antiques and accessories, Pemavo, decorative and fine art and Linda Jackson, London Silver Vaults, dealing in decorative silver for the table, glass and accessories. Dealing in an eclectic mix of global and Colonial antique furniture and accessories, Cotswolds based Petrus Ferreira and Anthony Hepworth Fine Art, showing Modern British and Post-War Paintings and sculpture; tribal art also join the fair for 2021.
